The Site is an open-source software portal made available by the Likwid team (the “Company”). The Site provides access to LIKWID, a decentralized finance protocol that enables users to swap, borrow, lend, and trade assets with leverage through a unified liquidity system (the “Protocol”). The Protocol is maintained by decentralized contributors and ecosystem participants. To make these Terms easier to read, the Site and related services are collectively called the “Services.”
NOTICE ON PROHIBITED USE – US AND OTHER RESTRICTED PERSONS:
THE SERVICES ARE NOT OFFERED TO AND MAY NOT BE USED BY PERSONS OR ENTITIES WHO RESIDE IN, ARE CITIZENS OF, ARE LOCATED IN, ARE INCORPORATED IN, OR HAVE A REGISTERED OFFICE IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (COLLECTIVELY, “US PERSONS”) OR PERSONS OR ENTITIES IN ANY OTHER JURISDICTIONS THAT ARE SUBJECT TO SANCTIONS, EMBARGOES, OR RESTRICTIONS UNDER APPLICABLE LAW (“RESTRICTED PERSONS”).
WE DO NOT MAKE EXCEPTIONS. IF YOU ARE A US PERSON OR A RESTRICTED PERSON, YOU MUST NOT ATTEMPT TO USE THE SERVICES.

Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and share data. Note that the Protocol itself does not collect personal data, and interactions are strictly via public wallet addresses.

You may use the Services only if it is legal to do so in your jurisdiction and you are not a US Person or Restricted Person. We reserve the right to restrict or block access to the Services where necessary to comply with applicable law or protect protocol integrity.
4. No Professional Advice
All information on the Site and within the Services is for general information only and does not constitute investment, legal, tax, or other professional advice. You should consult licensed professionals before making decisions based on the Services.
5. No Fiduciary Duty
Nothing in these Terms or your use of the Services creates a fiduciary relationship between you and the Company or its contributors.
6. Assumption of Risk & Release
You acknowledge and agree:
- Blockchain systems and digital assets are volatile and involve risks of total loss;
- Your use of the Protocol is entirely at your own risk;
- The Company and contributors do not control the Protocol and are not liable for any use of or reliance on the Services;
- You release all contributors from any claims or liabilities relating to your use of the Services.
7. Suspension or Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if required by law or if we determine you are in violation of these Terms.
8. User Content
If you post content using the Services:
- You retain ownership of your content;
- You grant us a non-exclusive license to use your content in connection with operating the Services;
- You represent that your content does not violate any third-party rights or laws;
- We may remove content at our sole discretion.
9. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property related to the Services remains the property of the Company or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works unless expressly permitted.
10. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Violate any law;
- Infringe any intellectual property rights;
- Post or distribute harmful, offensive, or deceptive content;
- Use bots, scrapers, or reverse engineering tools;
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation;
- Use the Services for illegal financial activities such as market manipulation;
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems or data.
We reserve the right to investigate violations and take legal action where appropriate.

- Wallet compromise;
- Market volatility;
- Unauthorized third-party actions.
Our total liability is limited to $100 or the amount you paid to us, whichever is greater.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company and its affiliates from any claims or liabilities arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.
16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the British Virgin Islands. All disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with BVI law unless prohibited by your local jurisdiction. Class actions are expressly waived.
